I hate to sound like a douche after a nice win, but what's Dan Meyer's role on this team, right now? Why is Meyer only coming in in irrelevant situations, mostly, all of the sudden? Tonight, once again, the lefty warming up was Pinto. Last night, with the game still tight at 8-6, I saw Meyer warming up in the pen, yet Fredi let Lindstrom pitch to Colby Rasmus, despite it being clear that Lindstrom was struggling. Why is it that the manager seems to have very little confidence in one of our best relievers/our best left-handed reliever? I mean, look at how often he's been used lately, and the meaningless situations he's being put in... http://sports.espn.g...g?playerId=6106 What did the guy with a 3.10 ERA/1.17 WHIP/1 K per inning do to get into Fredi's doghouse? Beats me. Kinda baffling.

this is amazing the rockies are losing and we blow a perfect chance. i was actually confident with ricky on the mound but its been that kind of year for him. the starters have really been terrible this year and you cannot win like that. blew another chance to gain as the season dwindles. Our best chances were at the division more than at the WC, but now that's even more remote. Thinking of sweeping up the Phillies is not really realistic.

I really want us to, but it seems like we lose steam in august/september every year... So, I really don't know. I believe most of our players will be very good in the future, but then again, will they be with us in the future??? Yeah, I'm feeling a bit pessimistic right now. Key words. Well, who exactly are you talking about? By the time the stadium opens, we will still have Maybin, Stanton, Morrison, Coghlan, Hanley, (possibly) Baker. Unless of course there is some kind of amazing deal that we can't help but make, but I doubt that. If the question is for me, nobody particularly, I just quitted trying to decipher the FO priorities and/or intentions, I won't speculate on that matter. We'll see.
