This is why it's going to be so difficult to get back over .500 and get anywhere near contention. We have to put together such a hot streak, like winning 15 out of 20, or 8 of 10 just to get back to respectability. I just don't see it happening when you've got good opponents on the schedule like the Dodgers and Montreal and anyone else with a winning record. You can't face the Brewers and Padres all the time, if you think you're a top team, you have to BEAT some of the top teams. The Marlins just aren't doing that.

 

Lost 2 of 3 to the Cardinals, split with Arizona, swept by the Giants, Lost 4 of 7 to Philly, 4 of 7 to Atlanta, swept by the Astros...

 

we even only managed to go 3-3 against the hapless Mets.
