Clark was fired today, reports ESPN.com. Possible replacements include former St. John's coach Mike Jarvis and John Calipari.

I wouldn't mind Calipari or the guy from Manhattan either.

I hear Mike Jarvis wants the job, and that Miami is close to offering it to him.

If I were the 'Canes, I would make a big run at Manhattan coach Bobby Gonzalez, even though he will likely end up at St John's if St John's has a brain and decides to pursue him.

thank God. Jarvis or Gonzalez would be great, but Gonzalez is probably going to St.Johns like maggs said because of the New York thing. i just want to get this program back to respectability like under Hamilton and eventually beyond.

id definitely love calipari

jarvis would be very good, but he did not have a good last few years in st johns

but i think the guy id want the most is matt doherty. he has experience in ACC basketball and i think that he was just too green to coach at UNC. Miami would be a good fit. he is a great recruiter and brings a lot of energy to the table

Go with Doherty.

Jarvis and Calipari will make the scandals UM football went through look like the equivalent of jaywalking.
