March 28, 200422 yr I'm convinced that the greatest drug scam ever to hit the U.S. is caffeine... I'm referencing Survivor here, (God save my soul for being around that drivel) the episode in question is the one where the Survivor's figure out how to make their own coffee. Normally, when you see the people on survivor they're sort of listless and tired all the time, because they're working hard out in the hot sun and it drains you. Perfectly natural. But, I think it was last weeks episode where they figured out how to brew coffee. And the severe effect it had on them just put the exclamation on the fact that caffeine is a drug. The Survivor's were literally displaying all the traits of somone on serious drugs (running around, acting silly, talking about how good this coffee was; I think the word coffee was used more than a hundred times on the show and more than 80 in that segment alone). The best part about caffeine is that we're all hooked! So, generally, nobody cares. I have this truck driver, by the name of Bobby W. Holder who stays at my hotel. A helluva guy. But, he's a drug addict. He drinks eight cups of coffee during my eight hour shift alone. H cannot make it without it. That's a drug right thur, ladies and germs. I don't know who came up with the whole caffeine scam, but I applaud you as the biggest and best drug dealer EVER!
March 28, 200422 yr I think all drugs should be legal, and I do everything very little or moderation, whether it be caffine, alcohol, or ect. I love the taste of all coffee products and I drink it only for the taste. That means I don't drink it every day (it has been 2 weeks for me), but I really do enjoy it. Before tests I have overloaded on affine because it gets your mind going a mile a minute, but that's the only "abuse" I have ever done. I don't have an addictive personality, besides writing and baseball.
March 28, 200422 yr So very true Brian. The cook at Kappa Delta is a major "joe" addict. If he doesnt get a morning, post-morning, afternoon, and post-afternoon hits he is the meanest motherf***er you ever met. As long as hes on the java hes one of the coolest guys to be around. Definitely agree with you craig. Theres a line from Trainspotting that describes the state of things best: "and one bottle of Valium, which I have already procured, from my mother, who is, in her own domestic and socially acceptable way, also a drug addict." The same people that decry heroine, caffeine, marjiuana, etc are probably addicted to more socially acceptable drugs. And something tells me they spend time with Mary Jane regardless. Who doesnt?
March 28, 200422 yr Pepsi and Sweet Iced Tea are my two favorite drinks but I don't drink 'em for a boost of energy or anything they just taste great. Coffee tastes like s***.

March 28, 200422 yr It doesnt get any better than straight black coffee and sweet tea. Combine either of those with a slice of pecan pie and you have reached heaven.
March 29, 200422 yr I hate coffee. It taste gross. I've never liked it and it does taste like shyt. I don't consume anything with caffeine because I don't like the affect of it. Caffeine is a drug just like cigarettes and alcohol. It can't be prohibited because of the constitution.

March 29, 200422 yr Take away caffeine and I would probably go insane. On the one hand there is the normal side of me, that is addicted to Coke (Coca-Cola before you get any ideas). Then there is the Cuban side that you notice when you leave the city. I don't need the cafecito all the time, I actually haven't had one in quite a while, but I refuse to drink any of that Starbucks 3.50 crap when I can get a cafecito for 50 cents. I'll get hooked on cafecito in a couple years, it always happens to us.

April 1, 200422 yr without coffee im a grumpy grumpy guy. im heavily addicted to it ... i have on avg around 2-3 cups a day besides that im addicted to a lot of things ... i suck, i have a highly addictive personality.
