May 20, 200323 yr 98 foul shots in a playoff game. whatever happened to letting players play? question. would this have been allowed in the 80s? question dos. riduclious affair...the officating plain flat out sucked.... if this were a preseason affair, i wouldnt care...this is the damn playoffs...let players decide who wins, not the whistle. The Spurs after last night actually give The East a glimmer of hope.
May 20, 200323 yr when did i imply that the refs caused the spurs to lose Rune? I simply stated that the officiating sucked and that Salvatore is the chief reason behind these quick whistles. This is the damn playoffs.....swallow the whistle on those damn ticky tack fouls. The Spurs did not lose because of the fouls.... It simply made it annoying and painful from a fan's perspective to watch. I would much rather see Tim or Dirk decide the game from the field than to see the whistle blown and see them take about 20 free throws a piece in the playoffs. Its supposed to be a physical game....more so in the playoffs. Call it like its traditionally been called. And the East still has no chance in hell of winning this thing.

I Blame The Media on these calls. Simply on the fact that if they were not made The Losing team would go all out on The Media and complain about The Calls. No one wants to deal with that crap. Also Das if The Spurs win this series I'll guarantee you they lose the first game no doubt because in the playoffs The Spurs did not take the first game seriously IMO unless that team was The Lakers.
