April 7, 200422 yr Really a tremendous first game by Josh. Too bad he didn't get the win. He certainly deserved it.....but like several times last season did not get the run support when he needed it.
April 7, 200422 yr Yeah it always seems that the Marilns worst offensive performances always come when Beckett is pitching. I remember last year there were a few times when he should have had wins but didnt get any run support, but oh well its part of the game. :cheers Heres to Beckett keeping it up all year and proving to all the doubters that he isnt a one year wonder.
April 7, 200422 yr Beckett did what he had to do to get the W. But unfortunately Fox ruined that. Beckett played damn good, and earned the Win but hey what can we do? We got the win and are 1-0, hopefully Beckett stays injury free and can continue this style of play.
