Do you guys think he's going to have a good outing or what? I certainly hope so, considering that the Fish are getting their rings tonight and it would suck to lose against the Phils!

So far he isn't looking too bad. He is not going to overpower anybody, but is pitching well.

I was totally off and thank god

I like Oliver better than Redman. And I was very excited about Redman last season. I think Oliver could put up similar numbers but be more effective if we are fortunate enough to make it to the playoffs. He has better stuff and can strike batters out at that level. Redman was a finesse pitcher. Also, Oliver has a very good bad - which Redman didnt have at all. I like how he has started the year. Positive all around.

Give me Redman over Oliver but Oliver should be solid this year and even better coming out of the Pen.

Oliver scared me a few times tonight but he was able to get himself out of jams and make it through 7 innnings. I think he will be a fine fill in until A.J. is back out there throwing.
