May 25, 200323 yr I laugh at the national media who propose that the Nets have a 'realistic' shot at winning. The Nets have not impressed me, the little I have seen. The Spurs will stifle Kidd. Bowen will dominate Jefferson. Duncan will dominate Martin. The Nets better plan on other players producing. They might win two games. No more.

May 25, 200323 yr the celtics somehow got out of round one...not sure how still...but that boston team was horrible. games 1 and 2 in detroit were horrible basketball games and the nets somehow pulled those games out. after that detroit lost their 'will' to win. the nets might win 2 games. spurs will still beat them up. they have one advantage on the court...the spurs will force kidd to either shoot from outside or drive toward the big men. good luck.

May 25, 200323 yr Explain to me how the Nets beat the Spurs. This should be good. I am not impressed by a sweep of Boston, nor a sweep of a Detroit team with no offense.

Jason Kidd over Tony Parker Kerry Kittles even with Stephen Jackson Richard Jefferson even/maybe over Bruce Bowen Tim Duncan over Kenyon Martin Malik Rose/David Robinson even with Aaron Williams/Jason Collins Jason Kidd is going to take Tony Parker to absolute school. We have 2 consistent scorers, you have 2 consistent scorers. We also have the second best defense in the NBA. Also, which team is more on fire and more confident right now? The Nets. The Nets cannot stop TD, and the Spurs cannot stop Jason Kidd. So it comes down to the roleplayers, and in my opinion, the Nets are just better right now. Clearly, we are going to disagree on this subject though, so Ill wait till after the Finals to make more comments (Whether I was wrong or right).
