Lowell running?

Featured Replies

how about Mike Lowell swiping two bags so far this year? maybe we should move him to the top spot in the order until Pierre heats up? :D

seriously, though....i take this as further evidence of McKeon's genius. Just when everyone thinks they've got the Marlins pegged, he keeps them on their toes by sending Mike twice in first two weeks - i love it!

I doubt he sent him. Its more likely that everybody knows that the Marlins will run less this year so they're even less concerned with somebody as slow as Mike than usual. As a result Mike's been basically ignored and has took advantage of it.

Mikey was pretty much given third base last night. Though his first stolen base was legit. I'm just glad to see him healthy and running fast. Last year he had groin problems so couldn't run all that fast but this year he's already got the team lead. :lol

Just heads up base running by Mike.

He started running just as soon as Wright started his wind-up.....a terrific jump....so good there wasn't even a throw.

Mikey's SB yesterday was on a full count, hit and run play. Conine swung at a clear ball four is pretty big indication of this.
