April 17, 200422 yr I know the Miami Arena was small, but the sight lines were pretty good. I have not been inside the AAA, but was wondering if the claims that the seats are too high and far away from the game are true? Which arena is better in your mind and why? I know the Office Depot Center is a good improvement over the Miami Arena, but hockey is different than basketball.
April 17, 200422 yr I love Miami Arena. Simple design, seats are close to the court, very nice. But of course AAA is a better arena, just not a better place to watch a game. The behind the basket seats at AAA are like bleachers because there is no hockey, but at the Miami Arena there are a bunch of seats laid out. Obviously AAA has the advantage of the jumbotron on the center scoreboard but its a pain. At the Miami Arena you can just walk up the stairs outside the arena and you're done. From there you can walk downstairs to the lower level or upstairs to the upper deck. Simple! But at AAA its a maze of escelators. To get to the 100 level you have to go on an escalator which is a pain, but to the 300 level it takes like 45 minutes. The American Airlines Arena is the nicer facility, but the Miami Arena was a better place to watch a basketball game. Plus, the Miami Arena had those water fountains everywhere with the paper cones.
April 18, 200422 yr sorry but how are the seats behind the basket at AAA like bleachers? the sucky part about miami arena is that all the seats behind the basket were really far from the court, plus there was no jumbotron i like that AAA is really loud and has a really good jumbotron, 2 things that are needed at every NBA arena heres a question: why were the floors at the miami arena always so sticky?

Well of course I am overexaggerating, but 5 minz isn't fun. And who cares about filling up the arena for the playoffs if it is gonna be empty 95% of the time.
April 18, 200422 yr sorry but how are the seats behind the basket at AAA like bleachers? They're removable and the floor is made of metal.
