i 'm having a lot of trouble hitting homers (in fact since i got the game i havent got any) although i hit lots of doubles and singles (pro) anyone got any advice??? :confused :confused

just point up whenever you get a good pitch to swing ... they are not hard to hit, you just have to get the right pitch

They're a lot harder to hit with left-handed hitters than right-handed hitters, since EA just flipped the physics from right hand to left hand and thus all balls hit by a lefty have top spin and fall sooner.

 

I generally unload most of my lefties.

just use the analog stick and point up and to the side of the field you wanna hit it to. You have to be really patient and get your pitch. High curves and fastballs are easy to hit out if you time it right.

So far my team has 52 HRs... but I do agree Hugg, I have 2 Lefties in my lineup... both have 1 HR...

i know how to do it easy in xbox Use the analog stick pont either stright up of pull it high right or high left , it works for me i have 70 homers with pujols.

Yeah I just hit 2 in a game with Pujols tonight. Both were close to 500 ft.

It's an honest error, but the game is too good for it to completely ruin it for me.

 

All you have to do for proof is throw Jim Thome in a HR challenge, don't be him, just watch, he'll hit 1 HR, maybe 2 tops. Most of the time he will hit 0.

I also noticed how when a lefty hits a ground ball that goes scooting through a hole, it goes forever because of that topspin. David Ortiz hit a grounder all the way to the wall in right center for me and it only took it like a second or so to get there.

The thing about it is that even with this idiotic mistake the game still rules, so it's going to be that much more awesome next year when it's fixed...there's no way they'd make this mistake again, I would hope.
