May 30, 200422 yr The Rondell White for Ramon Castro deal was a Deadline rumor. If it happens, Cabs is already up. He wouldn't have played as much, but he would have stayed in the majors. But Conine would have never come over, the offseason might have been completely different, and the postseason might never have happened. I'm pretty satisfied with the deal not happening.
May 30, 200422 yr I think AGon has .280 hitter potential, so, no, I am not satisfied with .240 from him. But I am not a fool either... Castro has been a disappointment, I think that is official. We cant send him down because he has to clear waivers and that is probably what he needs most. I think the case may be effecting him more than he would like to admit. He did very well in ST and now, nothing. Now c'mon - no one really expected him to fail this badly No one. Maybe I am a fool, but I think he will come around...
