May 31, 200422 yr wow, you read my mind...I was going to start a topic exactly as this one. Castro sucks people, I root for him everytime he goes to the plate, but he keeps f***ing up! Seriously, how many GAMES has he cost us so far??? He certainly could've affected today's outcome!!!! I agree that bringing a rookie catcher isn't the best option, but we don't have another option, do we?!!! :mad : This is simple, Castro is hurting the team, and if the FO is committed to win, CHANGES WILL BE MADE. June 1, 200422 yr this guy is done and defeated, you can see it on his face when he's coming up to bat, he doesn't even want to bat, in his head he's probably begging to be replaced. my question is what is it going to take for this guy to be replaced by ANYONE? alot of managers would not put up with this s***. we've had players who were performing way better then him that were sent down or replaced (castillo in 97) so wtf is taking so long? he had his chance, he was handed the starting job, it was his to lose, and he's more then lost it, replace him now!

It's an entire new front office but Admin Beinfest is trying. Dombrowski would have pulled the trigger by now. However Beinfest is making phone calls trying to get a deal done. I just hope he eventually that he realizes that we have the ANSWER in Willingham and Treanor.

That's a possibility, personal affairs affect a player's showing on the field. Castro's situation right now is sad, but this is baseball, and the team tries to win every day, so he'll have to be removed! It'd be nice if Castro goes to Puerto Rico to solve some "personal matters", the Marlins invalidate his contract and the Angels pick him up...we all win!!

Kobe's a free man.
