For the Marlins: Easley at 1B for Choi against the lefty Leiter (interesting move), Niner moves up a spot. Red is back in with Alex staying in the 7th spot.

For the Mets: Floyd gets a day off with Spencer moving to LF, Garcia to RF. Phillips will catch and hit in the 5th spot.

Putting Easley at first instead of Conine shows that Nunez may be in Jack's dog house right now for that feeble bunt attempt two days ago.

 

Jack would rather get Easley's bat into the line-up, whereas Nunez in LF and Conine at 1B would be better defensively.

Also helps that Easley hit that home run yesterday, that probably earned him the start.

Mike Piazza may get a day off today.

He has only missed one game this season so far (April 12th), so he will probably be rested today. FYI for those of you in daily transaction leagues. Jun. 6 - 11:41 am et

good news for the Fish :thumbup As of now he is playing 1B, batting clean-up. Could be a game time change, but more than likely that was yesterday's speculation.
