I don't see how Tampa winning the cup can cause any harm to the Panthers. The fan bases have established territories and we don't have a bitter rivalry, if any at all, we are bitter rivals with Washington, New Jersey, Colorado, Montreal, and New York's three teams, way before Tampa.

i kno the panthers dont have a rivalry w/ tampa bay, but its more of a personal reason i dont want TB to win. It just would suck that they will be the first FL hockey team to actually win the cup. The panthers were there b4, but lost HORRIBLY in 4 straight. i dunno i just dont want TB to win yes, but this Final was nothing like that one. Colorado and Florida were superteams compared to these two hacks. The NHL is not the same, but will soon regain the strengths it had once the young teams mature. superteams? lol

 

well if that were the case then the series should have gone a little longer, but thats in the past. Im just hoping the panthers make serious moves to be competitive next season, cause i wanna see that cup hoisted in S.Florida dammit!

calgary didn't argue it, because it didn't go in. From some angles, it didn't seem to go in, but in others, it did. This happens you know, the Sabres lost the series due to the "in the crease" goal a few years back.

having a great goalie doesnt make you a superteam, if that was the case than anaheim was a superteam last year and buffalo in '99.

 

colorado was clearly the better team that year, they had more speed and offensive firepower. the panthers were not a "superteam", in fact they were a 4th seed who had to beat philly and pitt in 7 in those 2 series.

Heres hoping there no lockout next season. Honestly hockey is one of the best sports if not THE best sport to watch and/or play. To see it locked out would be so sad.

 

Also i have a good feeling for the Panthers next season.

 

Now onto the Finals. Its been great to watch. IMO Calgary lost some games they SHOULD have won, but thats how the cookie crumbles. TB OWNS this game 7 right now. If in the first 10 or so minutes of period 3 Calgary does not turn it up its GAME OVER and congrats to the Bolts. Though i dont want them to win they DESERVE to win.
