June 17, 200422 yr Bump's greatest problem is his mental toughness. This may not be something he can correct in AAA. He has the skill to be a good pitcher....and several teams may be attracted by this....so we should consider trading him as part of a package for a quality set-up guy.
June 17, 200422 yr Author The problem is our bullpen for the most part has been composed of career minor leaguers and decent minor league starters converted to relievers. Bump has had some tough luck, hes a ground ball pitcher but his location has not been as good as it was ealry last season when he was first called up.
