If I was Seattle even though they have underacheived this year...

I would not accept it but I do think it would be good for The Fish...

Garcia will turn around if moved...

His messy arbitration IMO hurt him this year.

So after that I wouldn't be suprised to see him shop but I don't think this will happen.

It won't happen though...

I wouldn't be shocked but it won't happen just on the fact that The Fish would not be cutting the costs they want...

But aren't both of them signed past this year?

Lowell is but isn't in a sense... This is not the point Wildcard...

What's the reason for these trade talks...

Survey Says...

To Cut Costs!

That's why most of these deals being thrown around center around prospects...

Tell me something I don't know.

But it isn't wrong to explore all options and ideas...

If it's pointless and going to rid you of The Best Third in Baseball.

No truth to this, one Seattle was to exchange salaries which is not happening, two if Florida forces the issue they would want atleast one top prospect which Seattle might not want to do because......three Seattle is on a budget and to sign Lowell to a long term contract it would mean $$$$ alot of zeroes

I would Argree with this trade. With Cabrera Producing in the minors i will put him at 3B. Garcia is a very good and solid pitcher. He can Fill in for AJ untill he is healed. Cirillo Can be a very good Pinch Hitter and we can really use him with our pinch hitters not producing much. This is an even trade we can sure use Cirillo and Garcia....

That's not the point The Fact is...

You would not be dumping salary

The Trade would be pointless and even a trained ape would understand that it's pointless.

Also A.J. he has not been great this year he has been WAY below average look at his ERA

I thinmk this is bull the marlins wont do that trade they've got enough starting pitchers. :lol

But Freddy Garcia isn't just any other starting pitcher, and if they did get him, it would allow the Marlins to maybe trade away Penny to the Reds or something of that sort. I don't agree with this trade but I am sauing it does somewhat make sense.
