June 24, 200422 yr they trade a swingman in jamison for another swingman in stackhouse and more crap. the mavs will draft some guy that cant play defense with the 5th pick also. I do not think that this lineup will fail miserably if it contains Shaq, Nowitzki, Finley, and Stackhouse. That is a very good 4some that would be my pick to win the West. except that will NEVER happen. the lakers would have to take antoine walker (why?) the lakers would have to take tariq abdul-wahad (does nothing) and isnt nash a free agent or am i mistaken. the only way the lakers will listen and with good sense is if dirk is included in any trade talks.
June 24, 200422 yr lakers should really consider trading shaq for nash and the #5 pick. its obvious theyve come to the end of the line with shaq and they could use the #5 pick to inject some youth in there dont be surprised if dallas takes the player the lakers want, then trade him after the draft ya too bad that doesnt work within the CBA.
June 24, 200422 yr the only way the lakers will listen and with good sense is if dirk is included in any trade talks. i wouldn't be surprised if the lakers don't budge unless dirk's packaged as well. when you trade shaq, you want as much as you can in return. shaq might not be as dominant as he was a couple of years ago but he's still that true center countless teams are lacking, he creates defensive problems for the opposing team, and gets a lot of respect from the refs. he's gonna make a difference. and do the Lakers want the #5 pick that bad? Aside from a few exceptions, the draft pretty much blows this year so I don't know if the Lake Show's exactly itching to get some young no guarantee player.
June 24, 200422 yr hey c'mon I think its a good pick for the Wiz ... they lose teh contracts of 2 highly mediocre $paid$ players for a guy that if given the chance could actually score .. and as someone mentioned they would have a pretty good trio with Jamison/Arenas/Hughes ... plus umm yeah that dude that should eventually be good ... whats his name?... ohh yeah Kwar-eh-me Brown Lakers just wanna lure in Shaq and lets be honest that wouldnt be a bad deal. and if Cuban can pull of a lineup of Shaq, Nowitzsky and Finley ... wow that wouldn't be too shabby ... and im sure the Mavs will go and deal Stackhouse somewhere for a halfway decent PG... and we all knwo that they dont care about salary cap ( francis perhaps... :shifty )
