June 26, 200422 yr He can get up there eventually, maybe not this season, but he definately has that potential.
June 26, 200422 yr Author I dont really care who jack puts in the 3 hole as long as its not lowell or cabrera i just wanna see something new
June 26, 200422 yr I have phoned in the order to McKeon via the hotline. I want Castillo leading off, Dontrelle DH'ing, Choi hitting 3rd, and Cabrera hitting 7th.
June 26, 200422 yr 1. Castillo 2. Pierre 3. Choi 4. Lowell 5. Willis 6. Conine 7. Cabrera 8. Redmond 9. Gonzalez
June 26, 200422 yr DT, it would be to send a message, but I doubt it would happen because of the possibility of him jamming a finger batting.
June 26, 200422 yr To put Dontrelle in the DH spot would be purely idiotic... Name me a better alternative
June 26, 200422 yr Author 1. Castillo 2. Pierre 3. Choi 4. Lowell 5. Willis 6. Conine 7. Cabrera 8. Redmond 9. Gonzalez that lineup sucks this is better 1. Pierre 2. Castillo 3. Redmond 4. Lowell 5. Cabrera 6. Choi 7. Gonzalez 8. Conine 9. Whatever DH
June 26, 200422 yr 1. Castillo 2. Pierre 3. Choi 4. Lowell 5. Willis 6. Conine 7. Cabrera 8. Redmond 9. Gonzalez that lineup sucks this is better 1. Pierre 2. Castillo 3. Redmond 4. Lowell 5. Cabrera 6. Choi 7. Gonzalez 8. Conine 9. Whatever DH I like that lineup too. redmond in the #3 slot works, it's proven.
June 26, 200422 yr To put Dontrelle in the DH spot would be purely idiotic... Name me a better alternative IMHO, I'd put Lowell as the DH... My lineup... Pierre (CF) Castillo (2B) Choi (1B) Lowell (DH) Cabrera (3B) Redmond © Conine (LF) Sea Bass (SS) Nunez (RF) Worth a try...
June 26, 200422 yr i'd DH cabs before Lowell. We need his defense. Pierre (CF) Castillo (2B) Choi (1B) Lowell (3B) Cabrera (DH) Redmond © Conine (LF) Sea Bass (SS) Nunez (RF)
June 26, 200422 yr I'd also try this lineup... Pierre (CF) Castillo (2B) Redmond ? Choi (1B) Lowell (3B) Cabrera (DH) Easley (RF) Conine (LF) Sea Bass (SS)
June 26, 200422 yr You do realize Easley is HORRIBLE in the outfield right? 1st base suckiness times a million in right I'm sticking by my lineup
June 26, 200422 yr I wanna see Choi hitting third two, The Lefty-righty thing is way overrated as it is I think. It can't hurt to try it for a few games...If things stay the same then change it back, but at this point the offense can't get much worse right?
June 26, 200422 yr Easley before Nunez in RF. we need nunez defense Do you know who's pitching? Fly balls will be flying over the fence today.

He doesn't make much contact and his tendency to walk isn't as valuable in that spot when Luiy continues to get on base nearly 40% of the time as well. If we're going to move Choi up I'd say let him leadoff or bat 2nd.behind Pierre. He runs well enough for it to work. Not that that matters because we don't run any more.
