I was amazed! That was the fastest group of guys I ever saw. Garth and Crawford are nasty and Cruz JR has great range, tambien. TB's outfield is just plain gnarly.

FACT: Crawford is more aggresive than Pierre and runs on most opportunities and gets a good jump.

 

OPINION: Crawford is faster than JP.

Well I don't know if they are the 2 fastest guys in MLB, but they are both certainly faster than Pierre.

 

And btw, I really don't see why this argument deserves a thread, they are all fast and that's all that matters.

JP has become quite the p***y when it comes to stealing

The one example that comes to mind is Choi's hit in the first. Against another team, that is a double scoring Mikey, and we've all seen Choi turn on some kind of hidden jets he has and get to third for a triple. Instead it's a single, men on first and second, and nothing came out of the inning.

 

If the Ray OF was mixed together with the Marlin rotation the team would go 162-0, everything else would be irrelevent.

JP can run a better OF than CC, that is why Crawford is in left. The center fielder must take charge and be the OF's captain like the SS is the infielder's captain and as we have seen, CC isn't mature enough to realize he to run an outfield and that is why you see so much confusion in Tampa's OF.

Also because they all are so damn fast that it seems like at least two of them is at every single ball hit there, regardless of what's happening. I was jokingly worried that Gathright and Crawford would track down Easley's homer.

With his speed, CC should be in CF instead of Baldelli (usual CF), but instead Lou plays him in LF. That is why he is in LF. He can run, he can catch, but he can't manage the OF.
