Read it on ESPN Insider that Billy Beane called up the Marlins FO to create interest in taking Karros off their hands but the Marlins FO denied him and said they had no interest at this time for Karros.

Just thought I'd report this.

Wouldnt want him either way anyways.

eric karros....laughs.....no thanks

we dont need him...he only plays 1B...no thanks

I'd take him if it was 1997 or so

I realize he's not playing well this year, probably due to lack of PT.

But I watched him a lot last year and he crushes left-handed pitching.

i think we do need him an extra bat on the bench and can play against leftys if mckeon doesnt wanna put choi.wouldnt u rather see karros playing first instead of Easley?

i like that......yeah he hits pretty well against LHP

if we were in the AL than maybe I would take a shot at him, but since first base is his only position and he is 78 years old I say no

... plus I believe he has a big contract

Marlins already said no...thank God.

Unless we trade vouchers for free hot dogs & beer at PPS, I can't imagine it worth our time to trade for him.

No.

We have enough righthanded corner infield bat as it is.
