June 12, 200322 yr Woo hooo....the Yankees Just got no hit by the Houston Astros.... 8-0 Final Score... Astros used 6 pitchers....most ever in MLB history for a combined no hitter.
June 12, 200322 yr I like Dotel as well... But there are other reasons why those 3 are listed first.... Namely their longevity.
June 12, 200322 yr Yea it was unbelievable. It hasnt happened for 45 years. The Yankees have been a very good team the past 5 years. It was good someone shut them down :lol
June 12, 200322 yr yay for the hometown boys! ah, Das...my order is a bit switched from yours: -Biggio -Wagner -Dotel -Oswalt I guess I should put Bagwell on there, but something about him just...ugh...rubs me the wrong way. he's a jerk in real life...I hate his really low batting stance, too
June 12, 200322 yr but katrina... your #1 is the same as mine. too bad shane is no longer on the team...but i guess you gotta do what you gotta do.... out of the newer crop of astros though... berkman is my favorite....he is the player that kinda brought me back to the 'hometown' team.... berkman is also essentially a hometown boy for me as well..him being about 30 minutes away in New Braunfuls.
June 12, 200322 yr YES!!! it is always a good thing when the Yanks go down... I just hope it happens more often, that would really make me chipper!!!
June 13, 200322 yr Did any of you see that Jeff Kent (and a few others) didn't know about it? LOS ANGELES - Last night's no-no at Yankee Stadium was an exciting moment for the Houston Astros...that is...for everyone except Astros second baseman Jeff Kent - who didn't know the 'Stros no-hit the Bombers 'til after the game. Jim Rome on Kent: "Get over your unhealthy obsession with your porn mustache and pay attention." Houston outfielder Lance Berkman on Kent (audio). later....... :banghead
