Interesting fact about last nights game

Featured Replies

The 10:55 PM ET start time was the latest local start time for any MLB game since 1990 and only three games since 1987 have started later and all of them were the second games of a doubleheader.

fascinating!

i doubt that it wouldve changed anything, but i think they shouldve done a day-night DH instead of starting last night

I thought they were going to call the game! But I guess not!!

I wonder why they didn't call it? :confused

It's a pain to reschedule on off-days and teams don't like doubleheaders because they lose $.

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't schedule a day/night doubleheader for today or one of the next couple of days...

One thing T-Hut was saying yesterday was because attendance was over 30,000, they wanted to get the game in...That doesn't make much sense to me cause I'd like to see what percentage of that 30k actually stayed.....Although I must say....there were a lot more people in the stands than I thought there would be.

5,000 did.

The Braves would have had to offer free tickets to all of them if the game was postponed.
