June 16, 200323 yr Author Hey Pudge if you want to make fun of Met fan's spelling, I think you should make sure your own spelling is correct. Every forum has one of these people. I wont hold it against anyone else.
June 16, 200323 yr Hey Pudge07, every team in baseballs fans are pointing and laughing at us for admitting to be Marlins fans... The Florida Marlins entire Franchise history = Joke let me make a correction there Josh... The Tampa Bay Devil Rays entire Franchise history = Joke
June 16, 200323 yr The thing is, we don't win. Those teams you listed get attendance, we don't. We have been the target of contraction... This franchise is maybe the most laughable of any...(Besides the Expos)
June 16, 200323 yr Joe Mac, we know... I apologize for his comments and hope you don't correctly poke fun at our team as he has done to yours...
June 16, 200323 yr God i hope your kidding. in our first 10 years we've only had one winning season which resulted in a world championship and the very next year we lost 108 games after tearing the team apart. nobody laughs? they laugh at those other teams also, but they dont laugh at ours? hell, we're celebrating our 10th anniversery in our 11th season for God's sake. yeah i know its been 10 years since the first season, and they say 10th anniversary instead of 10th season, but you think people care about the difference.
June 16, 200323 yr This may be the franchise I will always love and root for, but it's entire history has been one big joke... I just hope we can keep Lowell, and stop the laughing...
June 16, 200323 yr Hey Pudge07, every team in baseballs fans are pointing and laughing at us for admitting to be Marlins fans... The Florida Marlins entire Franchise history = Joke let me make a correction there Josh... The Tampa Bay Devil Rays entire Franchise history = Joke i can live with that. 5 straight and soon to be 6 straight last place finishes. dont get any argument here
June 16, 200323 yr This may be the franchise I will always love and root for, but it's entire history has been one big joke... I just hope we can keep Lowell, and stop the laughing... Rays franchise has been a bigger joke... btw.. one more and you'll make the 1,000 post club Josh... congrats on a non-spammed 1,000th post... :mischief
June 16, 200323 yr Thank you...Thank you very much! *Bows and waves as the audience roars...* Back to the topic, You are right, the Rays have been laughable, very laughable, but at a time had three HOF's on the same team... They are more laughable than Florida, but not by much... And BTW: A question popped into my head when I thought of the HOF's thing... Do you think if Sheffy doesn't win a WS for the rest of his career, he will be the first Marlins representitive in the HOF?
June 16, 200323 yr the Mets are a joke and the Marlins arent, yet the Marlins are a whopping .5 games ahead of them?
June 16, 200323 yr with all the teams he's played for, who knows. i think there is a legitimate shot of him going in with a marlins cap if he goes in, which isnt guaranteed...yet.
June 16, 200323 yr Exactly... In terms of the past 2 seasons, I think it might be safe to say that the moves the team has made are a joke, but not the franchise itself...
June 16, 200323 yr Marlins02, I think he spent enough time here... I honestly think if he keeps up the way he has been, he is going to the Hall... He was also in his prime in team, and if he doesn't win another ring, I think Florida, not LA, has to be the team he goes in with...

June 16, 200323 yr thats true, he spent 5 good years here. he only spent 3 seasons in L.A, he's going to be a F.A after only his 2nd season in ATL. and he spent some time in S.D. at the end it depends on what the H.O.F committee decides. Some people actually think Roger Clemes should go in with the NY cap, so for Sheff, it'll also be an interesting decision considering he didnt play with a historic franchise except the Dodgers who were mediocre at best when he was there. By the way have you ever been to the Hall, its a baseball fans paradise
June 16, 200323 yr yea, twice.... awesome yeah it is, especially the room with all the plaques. that was sweet
June 16, 200323 yr Ramp, you do realize he's only 34-35 dont you? so? maybe he loses the love for the game.... you never know
June 16, 200323 yr Marlins02, they are thinking of putting Roger in the Hall as a Yankee because this is where he won the ring... Several times... Which I think would be the deciding factor for his HOF status... It would really be awesome to have a player represent this team there... BTW: I again was thinking of Marlins with 40 HR for some reason, and was thinking... Lowell got on an early pace for 40 this season, and has kept that pace very steady... If he finishes the season here with 40+ HR, he would be the second Marlins to ever do that... The other being the great pull hitting Gary Sheffield...(Although he can take the ball the other way).
June 16, 200323 yr the Mets are a joke and the Marlins arent, yet the Marlins are a whopping .5 games ahead of them? but wait ? the mets have a squad Piazza Vaughn Alomar Sanchez Wigintion Cliff Cedeno Burnitez Glavine Astasio Al Bentinez ------------------------------------------------ Pudge Lee Castillo Alex Lowell H'Worth Pierre Encarnasion Beckett Willis Burnett Looper now u compare those 2 teams and the Mets win in like every where except maybe C , and OF the Mets sohuld be contading for the division not for last place, so to me the mets = JOKE
June 16, 200323 yr The moves they have made over the past two years (except fr signing Cliffy, that was smart)have been laughable... But not the franchise itself...
June 16, 200323 yr Ramp, you do realize he's only 34-35 dont you? so? maybe he loses the love for the game.... you never know thats true, its happened before. About Clemens, he should go in with the Red Sox. youre going to tell me that when you think clemens you think of him as a yankee? he put up most of his #'s with the BoSox, the rings came because he got put in a good situation
June 16, 200323 yr those guys are(for the most part) past their prime.... DLee is better than Mo(is he still AWOL?) Castillo is better than Alomar Alex>>>>>Sanchez/Reyes-now Lowell>>>>>>Wiggington Floyd>>>whoever is in LF Pierre>>>Cedeno Encarnacion>>>Burnitz listen, the Mets are a disappointmen but if they are a joke, we are too.... but after we take 3 of 4, we will leave them in the dust
June 16, 200323 yr He likes the Yanks and what they stand for... The Red Sox apparently didn't want him, so put him with the team that did... Let him go in a Yankee...
