If you trade him you're going to get some good prospects (a lot of teams called the Royals about Beltran and they got two good prospects for him). jonnylons Posted July 16, 2004 Share Posted July 16, 2004 I think the Astros will probably trade him - but not yet. They hired Phil Garner as their manager - and he is a good one. If they rally and show signs of life, they wont deal him. They invested too much in building this team for this year. That said, if they do trade him, it wont be for as much as they gave up. If we could make a deal for him - with the idea of him only being a rental this season - I say we make it. Of course, it depends on what the Astros want.
