July 19, 200421 yr yah....you're growth comes from your growth plates....stretching your self like that does nothing but stretch muscles and tendons...nothing is done to the bone structure
July 19, 200421 yr Author i am a sexy beast :plain 465078 How tall r u n how much u weight?
July 19, 200421 yr don't listen to rune....countless days of diesel workouts DO help you.? The harder you work, the better the returns....now granted, you don't wanna work yourself to injury, or overwork your muscles...but lifting 4 or 5 times a week (depending on you're workout program) is good. 465006 4 and 5 days isn't exactly countless days Furman, it's exactly what I meant. If you overwork yourself for a straight week it can really slow down your workouts and their's no point doing them if your not going to do them the way they should be done. Plus if Laz is doing this for baseball(I assume at least) you want to give yourself a little break inbetween to heal some of your muscles so that it does not effect your on field work. I advise a lot of swimming if you have access Laz, works out so many more muscles than some of the other cardio work and although it's really draining in the short term it's easy to recover from after you're done. Plus it's a lot better than being out in the sun.
July 20, 200421 yr Most supplements and such are nothing more than highway robbery and so many dopes throw away money on stuff that has no effect other than putting thoughts in their head that the product is actually working(they begin looking in more detail to body parts and realize some mass or such that was already there but never saw because they were not looking for detailed result there. It's simply put into their head that it's going to help them). Granted their are some products that do work but their's not a damn thing wrong with eating right which people always seem to want to get out of. I was eating more than usual doing the school year, so during this summer I've completely cut down to two meals a day, no snacks, just water and maybe a little bit of watermelon here and there. The results have been great and I have never starved myself. People just don't have will power which is why all these hack diets are becoming so popular because they promise endless food which once again is a head trick(some people think that because they're on a healthy diet therefore will actually cut down on food consumption on their own because they want to see quicker results and that's what all The "Success" stories have done and that's also why their's so many who fall off the diet because they don't adjust). Laz, if you want to see real positive results beyond what you're doing now, you're going to have to eat right and eat the right food. Green Vegtables, lean beef, and grain cereal is always good. Of course you can break away now and then but you should maintain a steady diet of those.
July 20, 200421 yr Well, the supplements work in the sense that they give you confidence, and that is by far the most important thing you need when you want to accomplish anything no matter what the task.
July 20, 200421 yr the protein i take is exactly what it says it is: a supplement. Supplement (i.e. ALONG with or in addition to). I eat healthy. The protein is to gain weight. It's been proven to work. And I've put on weight while using it. If I were not playing football, would I use it? no. I think it's pointless. There is no need to use supplements unless it is for a sport, IMO. I also sometimes take Gatorlode and/or glutamine after a workout...it does nothing but help the muscles recover after a workout. And, Rune...I think it was a miscommunication then. I also did not realize that this working out was for baseball. Although right now is when baseball's most rigorous workouts should be. You have till March for baseball season, so right now is where you need to push your body.

July 20, 200421 yr eating just tomatos, lettuce, and s'mores is not good dude. Eat well balanced meals. Eat a breakfast too. You will put on weight if you eat breakfast everyday.
July 20, 200421 yr Along w/3 meals, snack regularly....make em healthy snacks though. But, most of all...dont listen to a damn thing we have to say....ask your doctor

July 20, 200421 yr Here's my general diet in the summer, I like to diet a little more towards the end of the summer because I know during school I will not get such a chance to eat good food so I try to compensate. Wake up, drink some water and have a bowl of Rice Krispies. GO swimming/mountain biking/or lifting what ever I choose for the day. Return home it's about 3 or 5 already so I take some watermelon or cantalope for to replenish what I lost and too make up for lunch. Of course drink some water. Dinner is usually a big salad with lots of green lettuce and lean chicken with some ceasar dressing, tonight I had a real great stir fry, with green peppers and lean beef. Maybe have some more fruit. I will usually purge for dinner on a friday or saturday but only once during the week. If I cheat during the week, I skip that meal on Friday or Saturday. Bad Habits are the worst to overcome when it comes to taking care of yourself.
July 20, 200421 yr i eat a lot of red meat....a lot...especially at home. We have steaks about 3 or 4 times a week...pork chops, bbq pork, fish, occasional chicken, hamburgers...we get lots of meat in our house...we all have extremely fast metabolisms....

A medium bowl maybe once a night if you eat really well on all other occasions in the day. It's obviously not great for you but you could make room somewhere for it if you wanted too.
