Well, the supplements work in the sense that they give you confidence, and that is by far the most important thing you need when you want to accomplish anything no matter what the task.

the protein i take is exactly what it says it is: a supplement. Supplement (i.e. ALONG with or in addition to). I eat healthy. The protein is to gain weight. It's been proven to work. And I've put on weight while using it. If I were not playing football, would I use it? no. I think it's pointless. There is no need to use supplements unless it is for a sport, IMO.

I also sometimes take Gatorlode and/or glutamine after a workout...it does nothing but help the muscles recover after a workout.

And, Rune...I think it was a miscommunication then. I also did not realize that this working out was for baseball. Although right now is when baseball's most rigorous workouts should be. You have till March for baseball season, so right now is where you need to push your body.

I usually drink a whey protein shake after working out.

Havent drank it consistently because of being out of town the last 2 weeks in the last month but I hope to start drinking it and working out consistently.

Its the only supplement I felt secure in taking that was natural since the protein is extracted from milk.

Any of you know if it actually works?
