16 weeks a year already kills the players.

 

Adding 2 more weeks will just shorten players' careers.

Only if it means starting the season 2 weeks earilier, and giving the teams an extra Bye Week.

 

That way the NFL season will have started when school starts and I'll have something to ease the pain.

 

But a 4 game pre-season is beneficial because it gives coaches a better look at who they want to keep on their roster, not because of 2 extra pre-season games, but they also have 2 extra weeks of practices to go off of.

 

And plus to those who say the Preseason hurts to many stars,

 

well then all teams should do what the Packers do, Favre, Green, & Barnett play no more then 1 or 2 series' in the first 3 pre-season games and then they don't play PERIOD in the last one.
