If we were to get one of those guys and everyones healthy during september we go from a horrible bullpen to one of the best... Benitez - one of the best Closers in the league now. Otsuka - Has records held in Japan 2.23 ERA Good setup man Fox - Possible come back, great in MR last year Kock - Getting on track, two more scoreless innings Thursday, control improved Spooney - Great middle reliever, hes a bulldog awsome movement Perisho - take out July-1.56 ERA Manzy - Good start with Marlins a couple bad outings but a good long/middle reliever With Reed-- Benitez Fox Reed - 2.54 ERA Kock Spooney Perisho Manzy/bump/howard
July 29, 200422 yr Author why would san diego trade ostuka? seriously. 481807[/snapback] Yea thats what i was saying at first theres little possiblitty but someone said they heard it from a SD sourse, the only reason i can think of is they have other setup man in Beck and Linebrink Witasick was doing okay untiul last night he ERA went from 3.06 to 3.56 with 3 earned runs in an inning of work
July 29, 200422 yr Author Only Linebrink out of the four that can go after this season Otsuka signed till 2005 with 2006 option Beck untill 2005 Witasick until 2005 So it seems like SD definately not going to trade him since hes there until 2006, that source must of been wrong unless SD wants a starter
