Benitez on the DL

Featured Replies

I just saw ESPN reporting that the marlins placed Benitez on the DL due to his soreness/swellness on his elbow

does anyone have any info on this?

:confused :(

i think they are putting him on the DL because of Capefish's theory of the sudden altitude and climate changes.

yup. He had big problems in Colorado and Montreal. He did better in Atlanta because we were there a few more days and he didn't work much. Ben?tez gets altitude sickness and Arizona is a place he doesn't need to go to.

they probably put him on the DL because of all the roster turnover...and because he isnt gonna be ready till this weekend anyway.

this just makes it easier and allows the waves to settle a bit.

geez.

Makes no sense to put more pressure on Mota in his first outing.
