August 4, 200421 yr The only snake reliever without serious command problems is Koplov - Lowell should have sat there with the bat nailed to his shoulder until a there was a 2-strike count (same goes for Louie). August 4, 200421 yr That 2-0 call was horrible. The catcher had to reach way in to catch it... Yes, he was setup outside, but that ball was way inside. Makes you wonder what could have happened had the count been 3-0, instead of 2-1.... Friggin umpire.

It usually only happens when the starter goes less than 5 innings and a plethora of relievers come in to get the win, especially if the starter left with a lead and the lead is retained for the rest of the game. In other words, it happens rarely, and when it does, it is rather confusing.
