I pledge allegiance to Dick Cheney

Featured Replies

Turns out a few voters who wanted to attend a Cheney speech in New Mexico a few days ago to find out if they could identify with him and possibly vote for his ticket could not enter the event because to enter you had to sign a tickey which said something like "I here by pledge my support for The Bush/Cheney Reelection"

Undecided or Independent, tough luck for you.

So you're happy, then??

When Kerry visited Albuquerque earlier this month, a contingent of Bush supporters were in the crowd. The Associated Press has reported that the group chanted "Viva Bush!" during the event. The AP added that Kerry urged the crowd to tolerate the Bush supporters.

:mischief2

Haha,

Cheney was in LaCrosse, WI yesterday, about 70 miles southwest of where I live, and apparently he made a total fool of himself.

Oh well, thats Cheney for ya.

There was also a few hundred protesters outside of his rally.

I think it's ridiculous for the people that attended that meeting to have to sign an "oath of allegiance" to the Bush/Cheney campaign.

Isn't it ridiculous? I mean talk about a Free Country!

Anyway... Yes, I can't wait for the debates. It is going to be PRETTY INTERESTING! :tv_happy I'm watching Chris Matthews then.

Not much different than the Kerry campaign sequestering the video from the notorious "whoopie" fundraiser.

Oh Brother! How is that Oranges and Apples are mixed anyway? :whistle

NO ONE at that fundraiser for Kerry and for that matter at any of his rallies have ever had to sign an oath of alligiance to Kerry. In fact if you read up, Flying_Mollusk put up a piece of an article in which they said Kerry allowed Bush Supporters screaming "Viva Bush" to stay in the rally and told his supporters to tolerate them, because THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY.

Why must you find it essential to try to change the subject to Kerry on every topic, it's the second time today if I'm right>

What you see as "changing the topic" I see as "offering perspective by analogy".

So analogies on Bush are not important when ever you try to do your anti Kerry or democrat threads?

Not to swim against the current, but regardless of your reasons behind whether you like or dislike Cheney give him one thing.......He is absolutely brilliant.

THis is a guy who was the White House COS in his early 30's. You can talk about wealth and privielidge all day long, but Cheney's political career is about as impressive as they get.

As a matter of fact, none of these high level politicos (Kerry, Edwards and even Bush) are dumb. It's funny to poke fun at Bush for something he said, same goes for Kerry, etc.... But no one gets to that high of a level within politics without being incredibly intelligent.

Just seems a cheap when they get cheap shot and called dumb, regardless of thier political affiliation.

Of course he's a smart guy just as Bush's father was certainly qualified to be president. You didn't have to agree with his politics but both men are and were qualified for the job.
