I just picked up my absentee primary ballot (republican). I was wondering what you Republicans (florida residents) thought about the candidates...

Johnnie Byrd

Doug Gallagher

Admin Klayman

William Billy Kogut

Sonya March

Mel Martinez

Bill McCollum

Karen Saull

Well im working on mel martinez's campaign so ill vote for him, but he's a little bit of a RINO. McCollum is good and possibly has the best ideas, but this is politics, and the man is hideous. Its sad but a candidate's looks do affect his chances, look at nixon i nthe early going.

I would say that if you vote for one, vote for Martinez, just because he is doing this to be a yes-man for Floridians and Bush agendas.

Just what we need, another yes man for the Bushies.

Well for me Bush is the match. He stands for most of the things I stand for on the issues like not killing inocent fetuses and tax breaks.

it's kind of a sketchy site, but this Right Wing Watch (a liberal site, obviously) is where I found McCollum's stances on issues. I like this guy...a lot.

I love how this liberal site rates these evil right wingers, and give (bad) points to McCollum because he "is a Republican" and "supported Bush in 2000". He also gets points for being endorsed by Elizabeth Dole. lol

That cracks me up.

Anyway, this guy looks good as a candidate. Sorry legacy, but I'm leanin towards McCollum.

Maybe you'd like a puppet that Bush can dangle for you whenever it was time for a vote

I went to that guy's site and he is nutso. One "right-winger" got negative marks for "being religious".

But then I looked farther and saw that he was a Cubs fan. So he's cool :thumbup
