August 13, 200421 yr Did you hear the storm last night? OMG I woke up about 2:30am and the trees were blowing, it was raining really hard. I thought all our trees were going to be knocked over. Was anyone awake for this storm? :o
August 13, 200421 yr Yeah, I felt it too. The outer bands of a hurricane are always like that; strong gusty wind, heavy rain and lightning, all come and gone in a matter of minutes. Kinda like a "teaser", a sampler of things to come. Don't worry, though. That's probably as bad as it's going to get for Palm Beach. It's the folks near and around Tampa Bay that I'm concerned about.
