August 16, 200421 yr i wanted to make sure that this did not get overlooked as we move onto the Dodgers series - Lo Duca did not allow himself to be benched once last week. he played in all 3 games against St. Louis, and all 3 games against Milwaukee, with an injured finger on his catching hand. most catchers will take at least one day off per week even when they're healthy, especially in the case of a day game after a night game. this week, thanks to Hurricane Charley, we had TWO day games after night games, and Lo Duca did not sit for either of them. on top of all this, you know how important it must be for him to play in this upcoming Dodgers series, and they don't get a day off before that series starts. no one could have blamed him if he sat out yesterday's Brewers game, a day game after a night game, to rest his injured finger after 5 straight days squatting behind home plate, with the biggest series of his season coming up the very next day. instead he played and went 2-5 with two doubles. how can you not love this guy?
August 16, 200421 yr "Lo Duca is a warrior" I agree....he wants to take this team to the playoffs once again...he's definitely playing his heart out!
August 16, 200421 yr Very nice Lo Duca "Warrior" posting. But, if you would check previous, this day, postings, perhaps we would not have so many splintered threads.

August 16, 200421 yr yeah everything Lo Duca related should related should be posted on the same thread......that includes all those people who were bad mouthing the trade 2 weeks ago and now we have come to see the intangibles that he brings to this team, not to mention his hitting and ability to call a game.... is it me or do our pitchers seem be throwing alot better games these days?
August 16, 200421 yr Author sorry, my bad....but are people really struggling under the overwhelming wieght of all these Lo Duca threads?
