August 17, 200421 yr MarlinGuru and METSrosexual, do you honestly believe the words being spewed out of your minds and onto this thread? NVM, I just say Guru's Che avatar. :confused
August 17, 200421 yr Author Marlinfan:A country can rebel whenever it wishes to. The Haitans rebelled in just few years of Arisitid. Stop being a dumbass and lick my balls. Case Closed. 515695 Do you know what's the problem with s*** like you? You follow blindly whatever you are told! I've presented facts throughout this thread, statistics, information from official communist newspapers, and you still hold on to your erroneous ideals. I'm not making this up, I have relatives in Cuba, my family lived through this...SO I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT...meanwhile, you're another pathetic looser, who doens't amount to crap....do you even know who che guevara is, or do you just believe all his romantic stories? I want to have a serious debate, while you attempt to disrupt any kind of civilized discussion...but oh well, that's to be expected from communist mother f***ers like you...you're doing the same thing that the Fidel Castro has done with Cuba...inhibit debate and the free exchange of ideas!
August 17, 200421 yr Author Yeah I know. Im tired of this thread. 515712 I should just get a Hitler pic and put it as my avatar now!!! :killthemall
August 17, 200421 yr I've spoken to many Cubans who don't and do support the Embargo but I believe the Cuban Embargo is more of a symbolic political move to attract the Cuban voters to witchever side supports it...
August 17, 200421 yr There is nothing wrong with Che Guevara. He was a great and visionary man very much like Simon Bolivar. Unlike probably the great majority of you I don't need newspapers of the media. I have gone to visit many third-world countries. I have visited all of South America (except Venezuela). I have talked to many poor and indigenous people that live in the most remote locations. Why should I listen to you people, whom get their facts from the manipulated media? How can you support this country when it goes to invade and kills innocent people all just to benefit a couple of wealthy others. How would would you like if your siblings go to a supermarket and never return? How would you like if you went to work and when you came back , your house would be just rubble and your family under it? I don't know If I can go on any longer talking with the materialistic and ignorant people (most) that this society holds.

You have NO clue on the stuff that happens in Cuba, so shut the hell up and go dust your Stalin statue in your living room. Communist *******! :thumbup Who's avatar shows more credibility; marlinfan's

COUGHCOMMUNISTCOUGH Who? Who is Che Guevara?
August 17, 200421 yr There is nothing wrong with Che Guevara. He was a great and visionary man very much like Simon Bolivar. 515771 tell that s*** to cubans who suffered in Cuba under that government and explain to them why. thats like telling a jew that hitler was a great visionary who wanted to make germany great.
August 17, 200421 yr Yes Im sure that old man has more credibilty than that bender avatar. ignorant bastard. one day when the truth stares you in the face you will probably still deny it? BTW everyone: Hitler never killed those 6 millin people and the marlins never won the world series. :plain
August 17, 200421 yr People who believe the crap that is spewed by the Castro government should really research both sides of the story. Listen to the stories of Cuban Exiles who risk their lives to come to this country and other free countries around the world. The Cuban people live in persecution, but somehow this is for the "good of the society". The only people who live well in Cuba are government officials and tourists. I've had uncles and grandparents who were imprisoned for the horrible crime of expressing their beliefs. If you were in Cuba you'd be thrown in prison simply for disagreeing with all of us here. Surely you have to agree that living somewhere where you cannot formulate your own opinion without the fear of imprisonment is hell. The Cuban Revolution was spectacular in that the people fought for what they believed in. However, the Cuban revolution was never meant to be a Communist Revolution, Castro himself promised democracy and free elections for Cuba if the revolution was successful. Castro screwed everyone who helped them with the revolution by murdering them and throwing them into political prisons if they disagreed with the new government. So while the revolution was an incredible feat, what has come out of it has been one of the worst disasters in modern history. Why should I listen to you people, whom get their facts from the manipulated media? How can you support this country when it goes to invade and kills innocent people all just to benefit a couple of wealthy others. Are you stupid? Don't you realize that the majority of the people disagreeing with you on this thread have been directly affected by Castro's government? This issue has NOTHING to do with the media at all. What most people on this thread are stating come directly from stories told by fathers, grandfathers, aunts and uncles to their families about their experiences with Castro's government. BTW, I agree with most of you. People who wear Che Guevara Tshirts (and avatars too for that matter) really know nothing about him. *Edit* To answer the question. I do support the embargo and it should remain in place until Castro and/or anyone who takes over him complies with the United States' request for improved human rights and free elections.
August 17, 200421 yr I won't even go backwards, I'll just look at what you say now. Too much trash to burn from the first page. There is nothing wrong with Che Guevara. He was a great and visionary man very much like Simon Bolivar.515771 I laughed out loud at this one. Unlike probably the great majority of you I don't need newspapers of the media. I have gone to visit many third-world countries. I have visited all of South America (except Venezuela). I have talked to many poor and indigenous people that live in the most remote locations. 515771 Um, the media outside Miami says nothing to the extent of what truly happens in Cuba. How many national outlets did you see report the roundup of 300 dissidents some while back without real charges? The charges were invented later, where they went to "trial", and were given 15-20 years on average for such treacherous things as hanging a Cuban flag upside down, and speaking about freedom of religion and freedom of the press. Criminals, I tell ya. Why should I listen to you people, whom get their facts from the manipulated media? How can you support this country when it goes to invade and kills innocent people? 515771 Well, this is all debatable what you said about the US. You are mistaken there, but that isn't the issue at hand. Does the US go ahead and kill its own people? Name me one US citizen that is a political prisoner in this country. One. There is no such thing as a prisoner of conscience here, but in Cuba the tails are endless. I could give you a few quick names if you want. How would would you like if your siblings go to a supermarket and never return? How would you like if you went to work and when you came back , your house would be just rubble and your family under it? 515771 How would you like if all your money was stolen from you from the government? How would you like not being able to think your own way because your neighbor is going to snitch on you, your family will be blacklisted, and you will be put in jail until no one knows you are there and then executed? Oh, btw, all those crimes happen in Cuba too. Probably more so than here, the difference is since there is no freedom of the press the only newspaper is Granma, run by the state. Why would the state report its own failures? Maybe check out some of the independent newspapers on the internet from the island, which I can supply you with, from journalists who literally risk their lives to report the truth about the life they and their fellow brothers and sisters left stranded on the island lead. I don't know If I can go on any longer talking with the materialistic and ignorant people (most) that this society holds. 515771 I have a question, do you live in the United States? If yes, why are you still here? You obviously absolutely hate the place, so I see no reason for you to continue existence on this soil. If no (actually, this applies either way), if you were in Cuba right now saying the things you say about the US government about the Cuban government, you'd be in jail for "treason against the revolution". Fifteen to Twenty, with torturings and horrible conditions in the jail cells and the possibility of execution at any time.

August 17, 200421 yr Yes. 515803 Captain Hate America, you are the type of person that keeps society from moving us forward, and for that you will always he hated. Y don't you come down to Little Habana and you can see how stupid the TRUTH on Che Guevara will make you feel.
August 17, 200421 yr Yes. 515803 That's the reply of a person who has nothing else to say because he's been thoroughly proven wrong.
August 17, 200421 yr I said yes in reply to Juanky. Why would I go to talk with the most extreme right wing Cubans about Che Guevara?
August 17, 200421 yr I said yes in reply to Juanky. Why would I go to talk with the most extreme right wing Cubans about Che Guevara? 515816 Most Cubans aren't extreme right wing, most are moderate right wings with the occassional leftist thrown in. Whatever their political beliefs, they all are living here because they wanted freedom, that is something that you will NOT get in Cuba.
August 17, 200421 yr Why would I go to talk with the most extreme right wing Cubans about Che Guevara? 515816 your willing to supposedly meet with everyone like you said you did but you cant just go to little havana and discuss this topic?
August 17, 200421 yr I said yes in reply to Juanky. Why would I go to talk with the most extreme right wing Cubans about Che Guevara? 515816 Why would I want to talk to the most left-wing Communist Soviet flag waving Canadian red neck about the horrors of my family's country? That's the reply of a person who has nothing else to say because he's been thoroughly proven wrong . MarlinGuru= PWNED again...
August 17, 200421 yr I said yes in reply to Juanky. Why would I go to talk with the most extreme right wing Cubans about Che Guevara? 515816 Yes to what? I posed several points and questions in more than one post, you are going to have to specifiy which is the yes. If the yes is to "Do you live in the United States?", then honestly I don't see why you are still here. Call Castro up, tell him you love his system and you want to live there. He will take you in with open arms, you'll have to do next to nothing because he will poster you up as a triumph against the mighty US Empire, and all because you aren't Cuban. And you've got a few right here, if you haven't noticed. It isn't about politics, it's about what the man did to people in the island. We have first hand accounts from people who saw the man murder in cold blood. How is that different from what you accuse the United States of doing? BTW, I don't see how you can afford to travel to all of South America (which means you must have some sort of money, so maybe you want to follow in Che's fallen footsteps after all, or did you know that he came from wealth?) and still absolutely hate the US. If you lived in Cuba and were Cuban, none of the money would belong to you, you wouldn't be able to go anywhere. And what's the harm in talking to the "most extreme right wing Cubans" about someone they saw in person or have been told first hand accounts of? Afraid that your opinion is so faulty that it would be destroyed in a span of 5 minutes?
August 17, 200421 yr I can travel all through South America because South America is very cheap in US currency. BTW Im not Cuban or American.
