August 18, 200422 yr Hey guys, Tomorrow (August 17) President Bush is coming to Chippewa Falls, WI- -that's where I live Chippewa is a town of 15,000 but runs right into a city of about 80,000 (Eau Claire) and I can't wait for 11:20 when President Bush gets there because there was a limit of 300 people inside of the rally and 50 Kerry supporters will be right outside of the rally with "Kerry-Edwards" signs and "Wisconsin is Kerry Country" signs and passing out Kerry literature. And then 55 Kerry supporters (including myself) will be inside the rally with buttons on for sure and hopefully signs. So a little over 1/6 of the people INSIDE the rally will be Kerry supporters. But just thought you should all know that the President will be in my town tomorrow campaigning in what is considered the most Demcoratic area in Wisconsin besides Milwaukee and Madison!
August 18, 200422 yr We had Kerry and Bush in Davenport at the same time a couple weeks back.. That was interesting... What was funny is with the main focus of the police on those two, there were 3 bank robberies while Bush and Kerry where in town... lol
August 18, 200422 yr Nice going, just don't get into trouble. :thumbup Wisconsin is pretty much a Democratic state. I believe Gore won Wisconsin in the previous elections.
August 18, 200422 yr Author Wisconsin is a TYPICALLY Democratic state. But Gore only won Wisconsin by .2% (two-tenths of one percent) in 2000, or in other words, he Won Wisconsin by about 4,500 votes. Wisconsin does have a Democratic governor, 2 Democratic US Senators, and 5 US Reps in the House of reps that are Democrats. But Bush is only 3-4% behind Kerry.
