August 21, 200422 yr Author Let me give it to you this way Rune. Let's say Philly was plunged into the dark ages. Only form of communication was battery operated radio and the occasional cell phone. No electricity, no running water, no shelter other than camping tents for many. How the hell are you going to produce transcripts and articles in that type of situation?
August 21, 200422 yr Author Prior to today's visit, the media was all giddy about him coming including WCCF's Alexander who had been told he may interview Kerry. As soon as it was learned that WCCF was a Clear Channel owned station, he pulled the plug. What difference does it matter who owns it? It is the only voice people have for info. By doing this he infuriated the locals and the storm continued. The storm was started after Kerry decided not to visit even though invited until the last minute on Thursday.

It was all about what he thought of the damage, Charlotte County, the people, and if he had any personal messages for the suffering victims.

It shows just how frustrating it was for these people to be so professional before, during and after while their homes got torn apart as well as their work and passion. Can you imagine losing your house and business like my Law teacher and her husband did?
