August 22, 200422 yr No one who robs a bunch of homeruns is ever remembered if he can't hit homeruns. 521425[/snapback] But if you make ONE defensive play in the World Series you'll be remembered more than if you homer. Example: Wille Mays is remembered more for a defensive play in the World Series than both Reggie Jackson (who hit homers in Da Show like Cecil Fielder hit Big Macs at Mickey D's) and Bill Mazeroski (sorry if I messed that up Nuggy), who hit the only walk off in a Game 7 ever. Chuck Carr could have made the play Willie did, and he'd be remembered forever.
August 22, 200422 yr Rob a pitcher of a homerun then hit one off of him and say "Thats how its done, BEE-ATCH!"
August 22, 200422 yr Robbing a homer is so much cooler. Everytime I go to a ballgame I see a home run, but I've only seen a couple robbed this year.
August 22, 200422 yr I've seen hundreds of homers in person, all different kinds. I think I've seen a homer taken away twice in person. Maybe.
