Would you rather rob a home run or hit a home run?

Featured Replies

I'd probably go with 'rob'

Everyone hits homeruns and with the exception of the way they can drastically change the score, they're really not that exciting anymore. Some may be crushed and some may just barely make it over but they still basically look the same.

But jumping over the outfield walls while the crowd is roaring behind you expecting it to be a homerun and then catching it is priceless.

robbing homers should be a stat.

i would rather rob 73 homers than hit that many...and people will remember you more.

You're right in 100 years people are going to be sitting around talking about Torii Hunter, who the hell is Barry Bonds right? God... I hate... GAAAH! PUT SOME THOUGHT IN WHAT YOU SAY!

Rob, fo shizzle

Nothing beats baseball's defense for highlight reels

robbing homers should be a stat.

Why would the remember Torii Hunter? He doesn't rob 73 HRs.....you can't make a fair comparison, PhishPhan unless Hunter actually did, indeed rob 73 HRs this season.

Mays is more remembered for his fielding (plus some bat) than his bat (plus some fielding).

robbing homers should be a stat.
