How's everyone doing today? my name is Sam and I am new to these forums. I'm sort of a transplant Marlins fan, I fell in love with the 03' team and have been constantly following the 04' team as well. However Saturday will be the first time I will go watch them live at the stadium and was wondering what seats should I get, I was thinking the clubzone A for $35. I have never been to Pro Players so I don't know what to expect, can you guys give me a few suggestions in regards to the different seats and prices? thanx! :thumbup

To be honest, I think the best seats are the outfield reserve, either section 130 or 131. You can usually get them rather low to the wall if you go to ticketmaster, depending how many are in your party. You have a great look right down the line, right by the Marlins pen, and can taunt the left fielder. The tickets will put you down like $10 each I think, maybe 9, I forget. Only thing is, during an afternoon game, be sure to bring a hat and some sunscreen and sunglasses you'd have the sun in your face, but you get a nice tan. Evening games are usually fine this time of year since the days are shorter. Enjoy!

Welcome!

As for seats, let me give you some ideas....

Fish Tank

Location: Sections 125,126, & 127

Price: $6

Pros: affordable seats, a lot of fun, nice view of the field, you may catch a ball or two

Cons: too far from the action, the sun hits you and blocks your view while burning you to a crisp

Terrace Box

Location: Sections 102,103,106,107,110,141,& 140

Price: $18

Pros: Closer to the action, you're right by the visiting bullpen, most likely to get some shade depending on time of day, foul ball zone

Cons: You may get some sun, but at least it's not as bad as Fish Tank, You have to be very careful because some sections have a really bad view of home plate because of the way it faces the field and because fans going up and down the aisles blocking your view. I recommend sections 107 & 110 for a perfect view.

Upper Deck

Location: 400's

Price: $12

Pros: Awesome view of the action anywhere you sit. You can pretty much see everything from up there. Sometimes some foul balls fly up there. You may get shade if you sit by the third base line.

Cons: I can't really think of anything, I just hope you're not afraid of heights.

Infield Box Seats

Location: Sections 101-142

Price: $28

Pros: Amazing view since you're right by the action, foul balls come this way, you may sit right behind home, what more can I say?

Cons: I can't think of anything negative to say about this section. It's one of my favorite places to sit at games.

Hope that helps. :)

I recommend sections 107 & 110 for a perfect view.

Ditto.

Plus, you get 2-for-1 on Tuesdays with the Miami Herald coupon in those sections.

And, fans heckling the visiting bullpen is always fun.

Oh, and upper deck behind home plate is nice too.

Thanx for all of the quick responses, I think the Infield Box seats are right up my alley. I'm hyped, I've been wanting to go to a game for a long time, too bad none of my buddies like Baseball except my best friend who just came down from West Palm. Is anyone else going to the game on Saturday? :thumbup

We're going on Wednesday. I hope you have fun & enjoy the game. :)

Another tip... if you're over 21 & have a Driver's Licence, you go up to Guest Services (located on Section 156 and Section 456) and show them your ticket and licence and they'll give you a voucher for a free soft drink. Plus, they put your name up for a chance to win a prize.

The point is that you're signing up as a Designated Driver, which means you make a promise not to drink any alcohol while at the game.

Also, bring bottled water and chips or something (must be sealed or else they won't let you in with it) because at the stadium, food and drinks are super expensive.

I recommend sections 107 & 110 for a perfect view.

Ive been to millions of games before but never went on 2 for 1 Tuesday. So thats where those seats are? Ive always wondered. Thats a great deal.

Welcome, Salami. If you were thinking Club Zone A, then go for it because you get a great view and a nice indoor concession area. Plus you're protected from the ever looming threat of rain. If you want to be closer to the action, then go to the infield box seats. I recommend section 144, over the Marlins dugout. If you call Ticketmaster, you can pick which section you want.

upper deck behind home plate are awesome seats and only for 6 bucks. if you wanna catch a homer the power ally isn't to bad, good view.

welcome to the boards! and i'll see u saturday cuz i'll be there too lol im gonna be sitting in the upper deck section 444 row 10 seat 15 along with my family...i always sit there since im a saturday season ticket holder

Well dang I was going to try to sign up for designated driver, but I'm only 16 and got my license last week. Just because I can't buy beer get drunk and crash, doesn't mean I can't drink beer and get drunk and crash.

Welcome to the boards, always good seeing a new fan. :thumbup

Also those $28 seats are well worht it. They are great seats, and you cannot beat that price. What other stadium can you sit behind home plate, the dugouts for 28 dollars? There is founders club but still it is close.

Behind home plate upper deck is pretty cool too.
