But, like a responsible person, I did have someone fill in for me. I just think things didn't go fast enough and there was too much time given and it really slowed things down. A draft should take less than 3 or 4 days and should be fun. I didn't get that anyone was having fun. Also, knowing someone who runs a sucessful sim league, I know how much work goes into that stuff. Which includes three hours a night on some weeks and includes having to get p.o.ed because people are making trades at 12 AM and won't stop and includes having to put up with a lot of b.s. you necessarily wouldn't want to. Running a league sucks, but, if done correctly, the pro's outweight the con's. I'm not hating, but I'm not sure anyone in the MFL was ready for what they were getting into, from the top on down to the bottom. I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone, I'm just saying owning and running a league takes a lot of responsibility and basically, sucks major heiney. It's more like a job than it is some fun thing you always look forward to working on. Perhaps we will all learn from this...

September 8, 200422 yr :deadhorse I just figured the main action was to be in the FA period. I really didn't think much about the draft. I gave my picks, but lost interest because it took so long.
