What the Marlins really need are a couple lappers, that we are up big after 3 or 4 innings and can take out the starter and put in a long reliever like small or someone to get 2-3 innings, so the starter of that game only needs 3 days off.

A 4-man rotation would be virtually impossible playing this many games in such a short amount of time. I mean we could do it but our pitchers would have absolutely nothing left for the post season, no way it'll happen and having Valdez just spot start everyone once in a while won't cut it, we need a consistent rotation and I have a lot of faith in Valdez especially when he's pitching at home.

ok i see your point but there is no garnetees of the marlins making the post season without those 3 games its a tight race if that 6th stater losses them the season is over we cant affored to give away any games
