Posted September 9, 200420 yr Well, since it's already Thursday, I can say that tomorrow I am going to Disney World! Hahaha! Even Hurricane Ivan hasn't stopped me from going. Woo Hoo! I know.... I am a doofus. I am just really excited.
September 9, 200420 yr Not looking forward to watching you chase down Mickey but yes it should be a fun trip.

September 9, 200420 yr You'll be fine.. I think you'll be preceding Ivan. Disney is the best... I am currently in the process of planning a trip there for December. I haven't been to the parks since I was 13 so I am REALLY excited. Have a great time!!
September 9, 200420 yr Author We're going to be there for two days and one night. We're driving up with a couple of friends. I was thinking of meeting up with some friends up there that live in the Orlando area. I know a lot of people from Disney sites.
September 9, 200420 yr Author By the way, Jess.... there is sooooo much for you to see. You haven't been there for a while so yea.... expect a lot of cool new stuff. I highly recommend that you check out Philarmagic in the Magic Kingdom.
September 9, 200420 yr Ahhh I bet there are so many changes.. I think the last time I went they had just redone Tomorrowland. Well, no matter what's new, the OLD Carousel of Progress will always be in my heart.. "Now is the time, Now is the best time of your life..." My parents used to take me to DW all the time but stopped when I got older, so my Disney mental pictures are sooo 80s :lol I remember at a ride in Epcot, they showed two people talking on like, video phones and I was sooo amazed and thought it was like, impossible. I assume you're doing Magic Kingdom, then? We're doing MK and Epcot. I love MGM too.. I was there the first day it opened and I have a soft spot for the Great Movie Ride, since they show parts of Footlight Parade and Singin In the Rain. Have you ever gone to Pleasure Island? We went about a year ago and it was hilarious. We got accosted by this Scottish guy in a kilt who gave us this whole long spiel on his dance philosophy, pausing only to show off some of his fancy moves. :confused But we're going again and this time at the legal drinking age.. We liked the 70s club too.
September 9, 200420 yr Author Ah.... the Old Carousel of Progress. Good times. I love The Great Movie Ride too. It's my fave at MGM. I have always loved it since I was a kid. If you like roller coasters, go on Rock 'N Roller Coaster. It's a little scary but it's a good time. I went to PI last time I was at Disney w/ some friends. Go to the Adventurer's Club. Good stuff.
September 9, 200420 yr Have fun and be careful and get home in time for Ivan's return to Florida! :thumbup
