It isn't funny. Its a truthful statement about what has happened since 9/11.

which should never be discussed on a day to remember 9/11.

Criticizing taking down a genocidial dictator because he wasn't connected to 9/11 is just stupid. :thumbdown

Losing 1000 American lives to a war we shouldn't be fighting is even stupider.

552418

Are we just supposed to let something like 9/11 happen again? :mischief2

I thought you were a supporter of Israel's security, and you call this a war that shouldn't be fought.

552427

It shouldn't have. I am a supporter of Israel's security, and this has done much worse than it has done good.

Bush exploited 9/11 to go after him, even though he wasn't a threat. Therefore, it is connected to 9/11.

BTW, if you wanna take down a genocidal dictator, get Bush out of office.

Yeah, it was Saddam behind 9/11. It couldn't have had to do with Bin Ladin, who Saddam had nothing to do with. What we need to do is take all our troops out of Iraq and put them in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. Oh that's right, Saudi Arabia's our oil buddy and there's not nearly as much oil to take from Afghanistan as there is to take from Iraq

I need help on this one. How is Bush a dictator, and you claim he's committed genocide. :o

I don't think this is the time to compare all of our political views, however I do agree that now is not the time to laugh at political cartoons.

In addition, while Saddam was not directly connected with the 9/11 attacks, the goal is to rid the world of complete terrorism. And anyone that says Saddam was not a terrorist is not up to date with world events. No, he has not come over and done anything in our country, but he terrorized his own people. And the only argument anyone can use against that is "That's not our problem"... which is the most heartless thing anyone can say. Our government is trying to make the world a safer place to live for all HUMANS.

Iraq will be fine. People tend to forget that America wasn't built in one day. We had our major problems too. It takes time for a country to build, especially one that was in such shambles, like Iraq.

It's sad how you guys have turned this thread into yet another political argument. Remember right after 9/11 when all of us were united? What happened? If you guys want to argue about your political views, go to the Bullpen. This is not the thread for this garbage.

Anyway, at the Magic Kingdom, they had a ceremony with a choir singing patriotic songs. Jaci Velazquez, a popular Christian singer, sang the National Anthem while cast members who are/were in active duty retreated the flag. There was a moment of silence. It was beautiful and sentimental. It was something I wish everyone could see.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
