Well, here we go again!

Another year another try!

Serie A is starting tonight with 2 games and complete day1 tomorrow.

Here are the weekend games:

Saturday 6.00 pm (Ita Time)

Chievo - Inter :thumbup

Saturday 8.30 pm

Milan - Livorno

Sunday 3.00 pm

Brescia - Juventus

Parma - Messina

Atalanta - Lecce

Cagliari - Bologna

Roma - Fiorentina

Reggina - Udinese

Palermo - Siena

Sunday 8.30 pm

Sampdoria - Lazio

the Roma-Fiorentina matchup looks great, prolly the #1 game on my list for this weekend. and i also think that Juventus is gonna lose badly, so badly that the team will not show its face at the "Del Alpi" for the rest of the year.

Ah...I wish, I wish....unfortunately Juventus pounds Brescia for the win, and Fiorentina loses 1-0 (played well though).

Hats off to Livorno....great tie with powerhouse Milan on the road.

EDIT: Here are all the results for today: Atalanta-Lecce 2-2, Brescia-Juventus 0-3, Cagliari- Bologna 1-0, Palermo-Siena 1-0, Parma-Messina 0-0, Reggina-Udinese 0-0, Roma-Fiorentina 1-0

awesome, La Roma starts of the year on the right foot. take advantage of having Totti cause it might be a different story next year. :whistle

Livorno ties with Milan at the San Siro?? woah thats awesome. at least we BEAT our newly ascended team yesterday at the Bernabeu, so thats good news. (just starting the argument between the 2 best clubs in the world).

and Juve beats Brescia...well, well, at least the didnt lose like they did all the time last year. its a breath of fresh air to the Bianconeri faithful, so accustomed to defeat. :thumbup

Watch real football instead. :thumbup :super :super

this IS real football. :mischief

yeah man ... accustomed to defeat uh?

just let me know how it felt to watch REAL aka "the so called best team in the world" (my a**) lose all 3 cups in the last 4-5 weeks of the season ... yeah im sure that was real conforting to watch ... talk about complete downfall when it mattered

OUCH

bro, who asked a Juventina fan for an opinion?? this is only for teams that have won 9 Champions Leagues. ya heard. :p

Fiorentina were promoted back to Serie A after two seasons in lower division wilderness following a 2-1 aggregate play-off victory over Perugia in June. President Gino Salica has big plans for Fiorentina's future and has already started building a potentially trophy-winning team: new signings include Hidetoshi Nakata (from Parma), Czech central defender Tomas Ujfalusi (from Hamburg), Enzo Maresca, Giorgio Chiellini and Fabrizio Miccoli (all from Juventus), Christian Obodo (from Perugia), Portillo (from Real Madrid) and Martin Jorgensen (from Udinese), spending in excess of $30 million, while income from transfer sales has been minimal. Defensive-minded Emiliano Mondonico remains coach, while ex-Italy international winger Angelo Di Livio, who stayed with the club during the dark days in Serie C2, has been given a new one-year contract as a reward for his services. Expectations are high in the city of Florence, with a finish in the top six (and hence qualification to European competition) expected. The season has already got off to a good start, with qualification to the second round of the Coppa Italia, overcoming first round group phase opponents, Piacenza (Serie B), Verona (Serie B) & Como (Serie C1) with a tie and two wins.

Week two results for the few of you who might care:

Udinese - Parma 4-0

Livorno - Chievo 1-2

Juventus - Atalanta 2-0

Lazio - Reggina 1-1

Fiorentina -Cagliari 2-1

Messina - Roma 4-3

Siena - Sampdoria 2-1

Bologna - Milan 0-2

Inter - Palermo 1-1

Lecce - Brescia 4-1
