jonnylons
I had a great time. Sat right behind 3rd base near the Marlins dugout. The guys were hanging on the fence and watching the game. A-Gon came jogging in one inning before the Marlins came up to bat - I yelled 'Hey Sea Bass!' at him and he spotted me with my Marlins jersey and tossed the ball right at me - but some people jumped in front of me. Bastards! It was a lot of fun. You had the Cubs/Expos contingent and the Marlins/Sox contingent. Whenever the Cubs fans and both Expos fans started to try a rally cry, we would wash them out with 'let's go Marlins'. Also, some dumb fan, probably a Cubs fan - definetely not a Marlins fan - got kicked out of the game because he reached over the rail and took away a fair ball that was turned into a ground rule double. He got booed. Jack came out and the crowd got excited. I think he just wanted to put on a show. The 3B ump got a good laugh out of whatever he said - I couldnt hear it. But, the boys looked good. Relaxed and in control. This team is very steady and very much ready and able to win on out to get into the Wild Card. No one out there today looked weak - except Seanez who just looked a little stale. He has been pitching too much lately and Jack needs to remember that. Great game to watch and a very intimate setting. Billy the Marlin was also there - which was surreal. It was a lot of fun all around. jonnylons
AGon had his stroke on too - just missed a second home run. And Conine hitting a homerun in my presence was just so nice...

jonnylons
Were you there, Marlinschik? In fact, if you were there, chime in - I am curious to hear the stories of Marlin fans that are here in Chicago. Maybe we can meet up at a bar outside of Wrigley WHEN we take the Wild Card. CardsJimEdmonds15
I was there.. Why I drove 3 hours to watch the Marlins play and not 3 hours to watch the Cardinals play the Astros I dont know exactly but I had a blast.. Got Miguel Cabrera's autograph today and talked to him for a little.. I told him I was a Cardinals fan and wanted to see the Marlins play the Cardinals in the 1st rd of the playoffs.. He said "Hopefully we'll see them in the playoffs. It would be fun playing a team that good." .. I told him Thanks and Goodluck! Then the game started.. I enjoyed it. I sat on the side with the Marlins/White Sox fans.. Pretty cool atmosphere there with all the Cubs fans cheering for the Expos and White Sox cheering for the Marlins.. I had fun and I wanna see the Marlins in St Louis.. I dont wanna go all the way down to Florida just to see my fav team vs my 2nd fav team.. babybearhater
thanks from all of the white sox fans at the Cell. We really enjoyed watching your team play, and we are jealous of a team that knows how to play the game. Now go out there and beat the flubs for the wild card, thanks!!!
