From the Forum Guidelines:

8)Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicive or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.

Signatures may contain images, but may not be any larger than 300 Pixels high and 600 pixels wide; 468 (wide)x60(high) banners are also permitted (within reason). Please keep your sigs to one or two pics maximum. If your signature is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable by staff, you will be requested by a moderator to resize or change your image. Please also try and keep text signatures under 5 lines. Failing to comply with a moderator's request will result in the removal of your signature.

Advertising, commercial-related or competing products are all forbidden in any relation to your account including private messages.

There have been a significant amount of signature pictures and/or text which exceed the board limits.

Please either reduce the size and/or text of your signature or it will be removed bu Monday, September 20th, 2004. it doesn't matter whether you have one picture or several which add up to exceed board standards. it doesn't matter whether you have one continuous sentence of text or several.

All members must be treated alike. We are on these boards because we share a common interest. Let's keep these boards running smoothly.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

explicit?

You're correct. The word should read explicit. I will correct this momentarily.

And for Maniac, as long as the pics add up to more than the board standards, you will get a PM. Actually, you won't anymore. They'll simply be deleted.

Accord- Yes. According to IE, both of yours added together don't exceed the guidelines.

rferry- Pictures equal load times. If you have 20 small pics and they equal one hugh pic, they will take (more or less) the same amount of time to load as the one huge picture.

The reason for the reminder is that some posters, more than just a few, seem to have gotten carried away with their pics and/or text. These actions called for a global 'heads up' for all of us. If your pic(s)/text doesn't violate the guidelines, then you're off the hook. If yours does, and it isn't removed or resized by Monday, then it will be done for you.

As always, The Moderating Team appreciates your cooperation and continued support of our boards.
