September 28, 200421 yr Pavano. Generally, you expect your number one pitcher to start the most games for you, and I'd want Pavano to start the most. He's been more consistent than Burnett or Beckett this year. Burnett may have been more dominating at times, but Pavz has beenmost consistent.

Pavano is effective because he's a #3 with amazing control, he's not an ace...not nearly on the level of Beckett or Burnett. With that in mind, Burnett is absolutely perfect as our option 1A, like Johnson/Schilling, leaving the job to Beckett to be our #1.
