even as a Yankees fan... I don't see the reason why the fans ask for a curtain call after a homerun, it almost seems like it's after every home run now

Scoring runs by base hits is more exciting than HRs unless it's a game winning HR.

rbi singles etc are more exciting but they take longer to get the runs on the board... first you need someone on base, scoring position, and then the rbi hit whereas a homerun, whether there are men on base or not, its automatic.

Do you guys think Gonzo is better than Jeter...defense wise?
